I have shredded cooked chicken with both my hand and stand mixers! I mostly do it in my stand mixer more but a hand mixer will work just as well too!

Do you thaw the chicken first?

My top tip is to just press the beaters (not spinning) directly into the chicken, then pulse them on and off. Still shreds great, but much more control and stops it from flying out of the bowl
